Local Air Conditioning Installation & Services FAQs

What types of local air conditioning services do you offer?

At Jmax Air, we install and service a wide range of air conditioning systems to suit different home and business needs. These include split systems, multi-split units, and ducted air conditioning. We also offer portable air conditioning solutions for temporary setups such as events or site offices. Our technicians can help you choose the best system based on your space, budget, and cooling/heating requirements.

Which brands do you install and service?

We work with trusted, high-performance brands like Daikin, ActronAir, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, Fujitsu, Haier, Hisense, Samsung, LG, TCL and AKAI. Whether you’re after a premium ducted system or a budget-friendly split system, we’ll recommend a brand and model that offers value, energy efficiency, and reliability.

Do you offer free quotes?

We offer free quotes for all new air conditioner installations and replacements.

Please note that we do not provide Free Quotes for repairs. A diagnostic fee is charged for repair-related visits. If the repair can be completed on the same day this is included in the price however if replacement parts need to be ordered a repair quotation will be provided.

How do I know if my air conditioner needs to be replaced?

If your system is over 10 – 15 years old, struggling to maintain temperature, or frequently breaking down, it might be time to consider a new air conditioner installation. Older units are less efficient and can cost more in the long run due to higher power usage and repair bills. We can assess your current system and provide honest advice on whether to repair or replace.

How long does an air conditioner installation take?

Most split system installations take 5-6 hours depending on access and site conditions.
Ducted installations may take a full day or more, and at times requires power to be off. We work efficiently and always clean up when the job is done.

What makes JMAX AIR different?

JMAX AIR is a local, family-run air conditioning business built on quality workmanship, honest pricing, and genuine customer care. We’re proudly authorised by the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC), meaning all air conditioning work is carried out legally, safely, and in full compliance with Australian standards.

When choosing an air conditioning technician, it’s important to always use a licensed business. Customers are encouraged to look for the tick before hiring an air conditioning contractor – it’s the easiest way to confirm they’re ARC-authorised and qualified to handle refrigerants.

Every installation is completed with care and attention to detail, and we provide tailored solutions to suit your property and lifestyle – no cookie-cutter installs here!

What areas do you service?

We proudly service the Macarthur region and surrounding suburbs including Camden, Campbelltown, Oran Park, Harrington Park, Mount Annan, Gregory Hills, Leppington, Narellan, Elderslie, Wilton, Picton, Wollongong and nearby areas. If you’re unsure whether we cover your suburb, just give us a call or send an enquiry – we’re happy to travel within South West Sydney for all your local air conditioning needs.

Incredibly easy to work with and gave us a great deal that was within our budget. Definitely recommend and would use him again for future builds.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing service from Jaiden today !

It has taken us 3 attempts, with 3 different businesses to have someone come and service our air conditioning unit. Jaiden was my 4th attempt and from the initial contact, right through until the end of the service, he was faultless.

All communication was exceptional, keeping us updated on our upcoming appointment and timeframe for attendance, polite and informative throughout the service.

Highly recommended !!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jaiden was fantastic, he was informative, punctual and so efficient and probably the best experience we have had with this area of business compared to a few other businesses we have reached out to in the past. Definetly going no further than JMax air in future. Thank you Jaiden!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After another company was 10 hours late to service my air conditioner last year, and only after I called them multiple times, I decided to go local this year.
Jaiden was accommodating with his dates, incredibly punctual and sent 2 reminders prior to coming.
Not only did he turn up when he said he would, he was pleasant and professional and charged my just over 1/2 the price of the other rip off merchants last year for betterservice.
Thanks Jaiden. See you next time. Highly recommend
